CALL FOR AWARDS APPLICATION
Inspired by the My Classroom column (English Teaching Forum), OpenTESOL invites teachers across public schools in Vietnam to participate in Classroom Support Awards 2021. The awards are sponsored by Oxford University Press, HorizonTESOL, Dai Truong Phat Education, Macmillan Education Vietnam and RELO (Vietnam).
OVERVIEW | My Classroom (English Teaching Forum magazine)
Between 250-400 words, participants will write a short description of a reading corner or a classroom wall and the needs for support at their school. The description should be supplemented with one or two original photos taken by the participant.

ELIGIBILITY
1. This competition is open to public school teachers in Vietnam who must attend the virtual OpenTESOL 2021. Before you enter the competition, please book your free registration at http://opentesol.ou.edu.vn/2021conference.html
2. Participants must complete the form entry below for full consideration. Entries must meet the word requirements.
3. The prizes cannot be transferred to another person or received in cash.
4. Winners are committed to arranging their schedule and taking active participation a the OPEN Global Online Course Fall 2021.

AWARDS
- Winning teachers will receive classroom resources valued at 5,000,000vnd including print copies of Bilingual Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary, reference books for teachers, graded readers, notebooks, umbrellas, mugs and other stationeries for the classroom.
- Nominated by The Regional English Language Office (RELO) in Hanoi, the winning teachers will participate in the OPEN Global Online Course Fall 2021 (https://www.openenglishprograms.org/GOC_Information).
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Your submission should be a Microsoft Word or PDF file. In the file, you should include:
1 An English description of a reading corner or a classroom wall and needs for support at your school (250-400 words)
2 One or two photos illustrating the description and needs for support.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
Members of the Organizing Committee of OpenTESOL 2021 will evaluate participant’s entry and will make final decisions.
Each entry will be evaluated based on:
1. The description of the reading corner/classroom wall in terms of linguistic clarity, personal voice and tone and the needs for support.
2. The photos in terms of focus and lighting.
